Idhasoft Launches Hospital Management System
Idhasoft's goal is to generate $200-250 million revenue in this fiscal year
The $ 100 company aims to be amongst the top 50 IT company in the world, Idhasoft, an IT services company in healthcare space, which has implemented software in several corporate hospitals in Hyderabad and Chennai to its credit launched its iHMiS (Idhasoft Hospital Management System) product in Pune. iHMiS is an end to end web-based solution, catering to various departments like patient care system, OPD, pharmacy, OT, laboratory information management, bio-medical, blood bank, radiology PACS, MRI , CSSD, EMR, RFID management soon. Ramesh Subramaniam, MD Idhasoft said, "iHMiS is the only product, which combines rich healthcare functional features and integration to some of the best medical equipment. The product has been developed using Microsoft Dot Net and J2EE Platform and therefore has been built with current and future demands of all customers: local/International as the product conforms to global norms and process like HIPPA/JCI/WHO etc."
The application follows a modular approach and is customised to suit the requirements of a 50 to 5000 bedded hospital. The product is also well integrated with popular ERP products like oracle and SAP. Idhasoft plans to further invest several million dollars to further bring in newer products ranging from clinical research to RFID etc. He further added, "In Pune, it has already won its first customer from a large infrastructure based company, which is building a chain of hospital across Pune and other cities." Headquartered in India, Idhasoft currently has operations in Atlanta, Georgia, California (Redwood). It provides end-to-end solutions for organisations across retail, banking, financial services, manufacturing, healthcare and insurance domains.
For the fiscal year 07-08, Idhasoft generated a revenue of $ 100 million and is one of the fastest growing private companies in India. Idhasoft's goal is to generate $200-250 million revenue in this fiscal year and be amongst the top 50 IT companies by December 2010. In India, Idhasoft markets its product jointly with IBM, where customer a well integrated and tailored to the IBM series of server range of products.

A
MAJOR SUPPLY CHAIN INITIATIVE BY Idhasoft.
The Chinese Government gave a go-by and approved the first step in funding dramatic increases in air freight channel capacity supported by the nation of China and Air China, its select air carrier.
This decision followed a presentation by Roger Cunningham, Senior Vice President Supply Chain Strategy within the Supply Chain Business Unit, DCB and Company Inc. Roger's presentation was based on a 2 year study for London Export and the Chinese Government on the future direction of Supply Chain Sourcing and Mode practices within the consumer products vertical.
Project Eagle involves an initial outlay of 1.7 Billion by the Chinese Government to initiate development of robust and economical air freight channel between Asia and the United States supporting consumer products movement. The channel will target the $50 and higher price point segment.
The air freight traffic is estimated by DCB to quadruple in 2020 for consumer products. The major advantages being speed to market, cut down on cost of land bridge expense in both Asia and United states. Besides, the air channel utilization eliminates a great majority of markdowns and exit strategy losses for the typical retailer. Idhasoft's current clients such as Talbot's and Hugo Boss currently employ air freight to source in excess of 50% of their inbound merchandise; resulting in some of the lowest markdown rates in the apparel industry.
It is DCB's contention that the speed to market principles entailed at these leading edge retailers/wholesalers will translate well to even more categories and lower price points as fuel prices continue to rise. In addition, competitiveness and product differentiation goals will drive an increased use of air freight channels through the next 8 years. Finally, as consumer products companies begin to grasp the rational application of Idhasoft Intellectual Property functionality such as is entailed in our package Fourth Quadrant, the manifest benefits of speed to market will become poignantly clear to most merchandise planners.
